Raider.IO Account

To Register for any Tournament on the Raider.IO Tournament Page, including Blizzard Esports, you must have a Raider.IO Account.

How to Create a Raider.IO Account

⚠️Official Communication from the WoW Esports Team or Community Event Admins will be sent to the Email Address associated with your Raider.IO Account⚠️

To create a new account on Raider.IO, navigate to raider.io/register or click on the Sign Up button on the top right of any Raider.IO page:

From there, follow the steps to create your account! Make sure that the email you use to create your account is one you check regularly, as all official communications from the WoW Esports Team, Community Event Admins, or regarding any Raider.IO Tournaments, will be sent to that email address.

Once your account has been created, navigate to raider.io/settings (or via the dropdown menu in the top right) to customize your profile, sync your Battle.Net (Bnet) and contact information, set your preferred time zone, select privacy settings, and much more!

IMPORTANT: Raider.IO Email Address

⚠️Official Communication from the WoW Esports Team or Community Event Admins will be sent to the Email Address associated with your Raider.IO Account⚠️

It is important to ensure the email address associated with your Raider.IO account is one that you check regularly. To change or update your email address on your Raider.IO account, navigate to raider.io/settings/email and follow the instructions.

If you must change your email address, we highly recommend doing so prior to registering for a new Tournament. If you are currently registered for a Tournament and you change your email address while you are awaiting Tournament Realm access or other communication from Tournament Admins, please contact a Raider.IO support team member to inform them of the change.

How to Sync your Bnet

Navigate to raider.io/settings/battlenet or select Blizzard Account from the Settings menu to Sync your Bnet. This process will Sync automatically with whatever Battle.net account you last logged into on your browser.

If you have game accounts in multiple regions under the same Bnet account, you may sync them all by choosing multiple regions.

Click the Link Blizzard Account button, and confirm the information is correct.

If this is your first time linking your Bnet account to Raider.IO, you will be prompted by Blizzard to allow Raider.IO to access the required parts of your Bnet account. You will need to hit Allow to be able to register for a Raider.IO Tournament. You must also ensure that 3rd party access is enabled directly on your Bnet account settings. For instructions, click this guide.

After your Bnet account has been synced, a list of Characters associated with that account will be visible. You can select which Characters you want to display on your account to other site users, and also select which character is your “Main”. To designate a “Main” Character, click on that individual character on the left-side bar in your account settings, and toggle the “Mark as Main Character” option.

How to Sync your Contact Information

Navigate to raider.io/settings/social, and fill in the fields accordingly. Some Tournaments require verification of Contact Information, so by syncing them to your Raider.IO Account here, those fields will auto-populate upon Registration. Follow the format examples in the fields to properly sync – for example, do not include the @ in your Twitter handle. Many of the social media profiles listed have a syncing process that requires authorization from the social platform itself. Please keep in mind that many Tournaments will require at minimum DISCORD to be synced and authorized before you can even submit Registration.

Event Team Management

To Register for any Tournament on the Raider.IO Tournament Platform, you will need to be part of an Event Team.

⚠️Every Team Member Must Register Individually for Each Tournament⚠️

How to Join an Event Team

To join an Event Team, input the Invite Code URL sent to you by your Team Captain into the Join Existing Team box in the Select Team section of the Registration page for the Tournament. Clicking on an Invite Code URL sent to you by your Team Captain via email or other messaging system will also work – this will bring you to the Registration page for the Tournament in question, and automatically fill in the team.

NOTE: You will not be considered as having joined the team UNTIL you have submitted your Registration.

Once you have joined a team, you can see it in your own Raider.IO account settings page.

How to Create an Event Team

Create your Event Team via the Register tab for the Tournament you wish to participate in. There is an interface for team creation in the bottom box of the Select Team section. Choose a name and click Create Team.

After creation, the Select Team widget will change to show the team you are now Captain of. Click on the Team Name to be taken to the Team Charter/Roster page. Click on Copy Team Invite Link to generate the Invite URL, or on Manage Team to regenerate the Invite URL, or to Disband Team.

You will be able to see your Team in your account settings by scrolling down to the Event Teams section on the left-hand side bar. From here, you can access the Team Roster/Charter page, and the Team Profile.

You can manage team members or disband the team from the Team Charter/Roster page after you have completed Registration.

From the Team Profile page, you can customize your team’s profile.

How to Invite Team Members

As Team Captain, once you have created the team in the Register tab of the Tournament, click on “Copy Team Invite Link” and the Invite URL will be on your clipboard. Send this link to players you want to join your team, who can use it to input directly into the Registration form, or click on it to open the Registration page with the team automatically populated. They will need to successfully complete the Registration process before they will be added as a Team Member.

To get another Invite URL, return to the Register tab on the Tournament and you will be able to generate another URL to invite additional team members from the Registration Confirmation screen.

How to Leave an Event Team

In the Select Team section of the Registration page, click the Manage Team button, which will provide you with the option to Leave Team.

You can also navigate to the Team Charter/Roster page from the Event Teams section in your Raider.IO account settings, and click the red Leave Team button.

NOTE: Leaving a team also cancels your Event Registration, so you will need to re-register if you join a new team.

How to Disband an Event Team

On your Registration page under the Select Team section, the Manage Team button will provide an option to Disband Team if you are the Team Captain.

You can also Disband the team from the Team Charter/Roster page, accessible upon clicking on the Team Name or from the Event Teams section of your Raider.IO account settings.

Event Registration

Registration does not guarantee eligibility to participate in any events. Please keep an eye out for official communication from Tournament Admins after Registration has been submitted.

How to Register for an Event

⚠️Every Team Member Must Register Individually for Each Tournament⚠️

To Register for an Event, navigate to raider.io/tournaments for Official Blizzard Events, or to raider.io/tournaments/community for Community Events, and select the specific Event that you want to register for.

Keep in mind that each Arena World Championship Cup (Official Blizzard Event) requires a separate registration.

Once you are on the Event page, please take the time to read the Info and Rules. Then click on the Register tab to start the Registration process.

Clicking on a Team Invite URL will automatically open up the Registration form for the Tournament in question.

Sync Your Bnet

The first thing you will need to do is ensure that your Bnet is properly synced to your Raider.IO Account. If you have not synced in a large period of time, you will be prompted to resync easily via a button.

Confirm that the Bnet info presented is the correct account with which you want to register for the event. If it is not, navigate to raider.io/settings/battlenet to disconnect and resync with the appropriate Bnet account.

How to Verify Contact Information

If you have synced your contact information to your Raider.IO Account, the appropriate fields should auto-populate. Confirm that the information is correct before moving to the next step. If you have not synced your information, you will need to input it here manually. Double check the spelling and case-sensitivity.

NOTE: Most Tournaments will require DISCORD to be synced and authorized before Registration can be submitted.

The contact information provided is important in order for Tournament Admins to contact you and provide you with relevant event information.

How to Select a Team

Select your team from the dropdown menu available. You will need to create or join an Event Team for the specific Tournament before it will show up in this list. If you are Registering via a Team Invite URL, it will auto-populate that team.

Alternatively, you may create a team from this window and send invites to your team members. See Event Team Management above.

Agree to Terms

Be sure to read the Rules for the Tournament (available on the Rules tab of the Event page), and if you agree to the Terms and Conditions, confirm your acceptance.

Submit and Confirm Registration

Once all the steps above are complete, hit the Submit Registration button. You will receive a confirmation screen that your Registration was successful and an email to the address linked to your Raider.IO Profile confirming your registration.

Once registration is complete, be sure to join the provided Event Discord for further communication from Tournament Admins!

How to Cancel a Registration

On the Registration page, if you have already submitted a registration, there is an option to Cancel your registration by clicking on the Manage Registration button. Team Captains will also have the additional option to cancel registration for the entire team.

Who Needs to Register?

Every participant must register individually to compete in an Event. Clicking on a Team Invite URL will not put you on the team until you have successfully submitted your Registration, and a team will not be considered Complete until each player has individually registered..
