So what might the remainder of the day hold in store for our teams?
On top, Method SHEEESH
has a total of 173 points. They're currently working to improve their lowest key, which is a +28 Eye of Azshara. This key has been giving them trouble for nearly a full hour, but they're determined to make their way through it. All of their runs so far have found trouble on the front end of the dungeon, which is helpful for them in that they aren't investing double the time per abandoned run wiping on the latter half of the key. However, the mechanics on the last two bosses of the dungeon have proved to be the most fatal for our groups so far. We've seen plenty of wipes to the Wrath of Azshara, and nearly just as many deaths during the King Deepbeard encounter. Timing this key will allow them to consistently raise their score, and to potentially have time for one or two more keys before the day draws to a close, staying ahead of their opponents who are also striving to finish their own keys.
Trailing closely behind this lead is Aster.Y
, with 172 points. They're currently in a +29 Court of Stars - a key that if completed, will raise their score by two points to allow them to remain in direct
competition with Method for first place. This is their second take in this key, and they're doing their best to stay on track for at least
a +1 for this key. They have time for one more key, and might even be able to start another dungeon before the day ends.
In third place, we have Echo Guardians
, working their way through a +28 Court of Stars and making their way over to the final boss now. They've got a score of 170 points, but completing this dungeon will also raise their score by 2 points. While it won't put them over first, they should have enough time to finish this key, complete a new key, and potnetially even start a new key before the end of the day. Depending on Aster.Y
's performance, completing more keys cleanly
might just be enough to give them a shot to steal second.
is in last place with 167 points. They're a little behind their competition, and they'll have a hard time of closing the gap. They'll have enough time to cleanly complete one more key and perhaps start another key, but there is very little they can do outside of pushing through some miracle keys and some very bad luck for Echo Guardians
for them to keep up.
