Originally dragon themed in its roots, Drakan has a much different goal than its older iteration. Transitioning from a semi-hardcore to a midcore mythic raiding and social guild. Brief Guild History
Formerly Hiraeth from Legion to early Shadowlands. We were a mythic raiding guild ending at 10/12M Nya'lotha in BFA Patch 8.3. Going forward we transitioned to a more casual approach but still claimed Ahead of the Curve every season. We're now hoping to make our first push back into Mythic with The War Within. What's your approach to Mythic Raiding? We're aiming to return to Mythic raiding for The War Within's release and the foreseeable future of the guild. We'll only be chasing Curve for each Awakened raid to conclude the final season of Dragonflight as we focus our efforts more on repopulating the roster.
What days do you raid? Wednesday/Sunday @ 19:45-23:00 (UTC +1/Realm Time). Forming at 19:45, first pull at 20:00 on the hour.
Must I be a Mythic raider or aiming for Mythic progression to make the team? Will I eventually have to pursue mythic? Not at all! We will never expect or force any of our members to partake in content that is not of their interest. If you are only here to raid heroic we will assemble a casual team to run the lower difficulties once per week. We can't promise to please everyone but we certainly will try.
I'm not a raider, neither do I have intentions to raid. What else is there to do in <Drakan> for players like me? We remain a very friendly, fun and drama-free (truly) guild where all genders, orientations, and players can feel welcome. We organise weekly M+ events, transmog competitions, and gaming nights on other titles such as Helldivers II, Overwatch, VALORANT, etc. For recruitment please contact our GM by Discord: vyollet We do not recruit by any other means currently, so please do not use the in-game raid recruitment system either.
