Team Composition and Registration
Teams submit their characters and are registered as a team on Raider.IO. A team consists of 5 players with 1 reserve player. A player can change specs but cannot change class once the team is set. Stacking specs is allowed. Teams have 3 hours to complete as many dungeons as they can push, with a 30-minute break time required. Teams are allowed to finish a key outside of the window so long as the key was begun before the window’s end.
Teams will be seeded into brackets based on the collective team’s Raider.IO score. Placement in the brackets will be determined once registration has closed. All team members are encouraged to run the Raider.IO desktop app and turn on advanced combat logging. Every team member must be in the Dungeon Dojo Discord.
Team Leader
Each team must designate a Team Leader. Team Leader responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Running the Raider.IO desktop app during all attempts.
- Combat log all attempts using Advanced Combat Logging - preferably live-logging.
- Relaying information about starting their attempt and starting their break
- Relaying information from Dungeon Dojo staff to their teammates
- Offenses to any aforementioned rules may result in invalidation of the key, disqualification of the attempt, or disqualification of the team.
Competition Format
The tournament teams are divided into three brackets, each with increased difficulty. The bracket intervals are 0 to 2499, 2500 to 2999, and 3000 and up. Brackets will begin their keys at 2+, 6+, and 10+ respectively.
Once the event timer starts, any key started by the team will begin their attempt. Team Leaders will be responsible for notifying their scorekeeper that they are starting their attempt and when they start their break and end it. Teams will select a keyholder and push that keyholder’s key. There is no changing of keyholders once the attempt begins. The team’s attempt will be complete when the keyholder leaves.
Once a key is started, teams must remain in the instance and attempt to complete the key. They can only reduce a key level after they spend at least 15 minutes on the specific key attempt. Any key started before the end of the attempt window can be completed and will be accepted but a team cannot start a key after time.
A team’s reserve player can be used to replace an existing team member during the attempt window but once the substitution has occurred, it cannot occur again
