The Weekly Route: Fortified, Raging, Explosive, and Tormented



This week’s affixes are Fortified, Raging, Explosive, and Tormented.

WARNING! Raging and Fortified are two affixes that combine to make trash VERY deadly! This is the first season that these two affixes have been seen together in a very long time (except in the MDI) - playing around them is the core difficulty of this week. If you can do that, the rest of the dungeon should fall over with minimal difficulty.

In each of the below dungeon sections, we’ll detail the scariest Raging threats to look out for!



The Weekly Routes





De Other Side [back to top]


There is serious group-wide danger if you get a Raging cast from the Enraged Spirits so either soothe them, burst them before their second cast, stun their second cast with a Night Fae urn, or don’t push them below 30% until their second cast is finished. The Risen Warlords pose a serious tank threat while Raging and should be kited if not soothed.

Halls of Atonement [back to top]


Shard of Halkias is the big group-wiper while Raging - make sure you have a plan to avoid death. Many of the other packs, especially those with Gargons should be kited by the tank when raging.

Mists of Tirna Scithe [back to top]


Make sure you don’t burst down Boughbreakers below 30% during their cast! During the maze you want to make sure Stalkers don’t successfully cast their bites while Raging or you’ll have players getting one-shot!

Plaguefall [back to top]


Lots of the trash in this dungeon is scary while Raging - there’s not one particular moment to prepare for it’s just danger all the way through. Far explosives are also scary in a few spots if you are trying to gather enemies that start far apart, so watch out!

Sanguine Depths [back to top]


This is another dungeon where the entire run is scary with Raging - in particular, Grand Overseers must be respected tremendously!

Spires of Ascension [back to top]


Trash danger in this dungeon is heavily focused on the tank, so do everything you can to help them as mobs enter the Raging window.

The Necrotic Wake [back to top]


If you use a Raging Flesh Crafter to kill stuff, make sure you watch out for Explosives spawning off of it! Beware the brutal AoE damage and one-shots of a raging Rotspew in the necropolis.

Theater of Pain [back to top]


Raging minibosses (in all three wings of the dungeon) will absolutely annihilate you and need to be soothed instantly if the key level is at all high!
