This week’s affixes are Tyrannical
, and Prideful
A lot has changed coming into this week - the biggest thing is that Tyrannical now increases boss health by 30% rather than 40%, which is a sizable nerf to an affix that was disproportionately slow and difficult when compared to Fortified. How much this brings the two affixes into line with each other remains unknown and will likely depend on the dungeon and the keystone level. This week’s other affixes are not particularly brutal, so this week may well become a candidate for one of the better weeks.
There’s also another set of Dungeon Nerfs
, for the third week in a row! This one is aimed at a few specific bosses, as well as a slight timer increase in De Other Side. We’ll cover each of the changes in the section for its respective dungeon.
The Weekly Routes
This dungeon received the biggest set of changes this week - the Tyrannical nerf itself being a massive one against several of the trickier bosses. In addition to that, Hakkar
has gotten some damage nerfs that should make it a little less punishing if the fight goes long, which is also a little less of a risk given the health nerf. Dealer Xy’exa
has also seen a 25% nerf to Arcane Lightning
damage, which should prevent it from being super lethal even when correctly bounced between three or more players. Finally, two extra minutes have been added to this dungeon (again!) which means it might well be doable at a similar key level to the other dungeons.

This dungeon saw no changes as it was already fairly favorable on almost any affix combination. This week is no different, just be careful of rolling Bursting stacks if you’re trying to set up any big pulls, and be on the lookout for stray Explosive if your tank needs to kite the bears

No changes to this dungeon specifically, though the Tyrannical nerf will play an important role against the first boss
, as this boss has a cast sequence that gets nasty if it’s left un-phased for too long. In addition to potentially needing one less phase to kill the boss, you should be able to avoid the worst spells in his arsenal at a key level or two lower than before.

There are no new nerfs to any Plaguefall bosses, though they saw some in recent weeks, and of course this is the first week with the newer nerfed Tyrannical. All four bosses remain lethal in this dungeon and should be carefully prepared for with Prideful and Bloodlust effects whenever possible.

This dungeon also saw no new changes to any bosses, but there have been some in previous weeks that should combine with the nerfed Tyrannical to take the first few bosses in this dungeon down to be more in line with the other dungeons. They’re still tough and you shouldn’t be fooled into taking any cooldowns off of them!

on the second boss
has been nerfed to last for only 15 seconds rather than 20 - it’s still a great candidate to dispel with any means you have at your disposal, such as Kyrian potions, Dwarf racials, or immunities, but it should be a little less punishing to the healer’s mana pool over the course of the fight, which of course will be shorter than previous Tyrannical weeks as well.

Being exiled on the last boss
just got a lot better, as you’ll return with 30 seconds of 100% crit
rather than 15. It’s still best to avoid getting exiled while in the middle of your cooldowns, so if you can’t use your cooldowns on pull consider saving them for after a cast of the ability - you may even get the benefit of 100% crit during your CDs!

has taken a 10% health nerf that should combine with the Tyrannical nerf to bring his new Tyrannical health to a little less than halfway between his old Fortified and old Tyrannical values. This is a welcome change as the longer this fight went, the more banners he summons, which effectively further increases his health. Because of this dynamic, it’s still very valuable to bring both a Pride and a Lust into this encounter, but it should be a lot less of a marathon this week than last Tyrannical week.
