Abolition is a 9 hour weekday guild formed a couple months prior to Shadowlands. We are committed to maintaining a laid-back raiding atmosphere where we place a high value on making the most of our limited raid time to progress at a reasonable pace while having fun doing so.

Raid Schedule:

Tuesday/Wednesday/Monday 9pm - 12am EST (Invites @ 8:45PM EST). This schedule is firm. We never add extra days and in the rare event we go over time it is 15 minutes at most.

Current Recruitment Needs:

1 Solid healer (Pal/Sham/Disc/Druid)

Solid ranged dps (no strong preference)

Exceptional players outside our class/spec needs encouraged to apply

The only qualities we care about are performance and your attitude. Our trial period around 2-4 weeks depending on how much of you we see.

Loot System:

Loot is distributed using RCLootCouncil. Every item looted that is eligible to be traded belongs to the guild, not the player who looted it, and is expected to be given up to be distributed based on how it will benefit the raid as a whole (i.e. how big of an upgrade it is for any given player and how it will affect their contribution to the raid).

Roster:

On progression, we always prioritize the guild's interest above all else. This means our progression roster will consist of the 20 strongest players based on both performance and classes which are strongly favoured for any given encounter. We keep a roster of around 25 in order to have a flexible raid composition and to allow us to raid in the event of absences. All players are expected to understand that there are times when they may be sitting out for certain bosses. Once on farm, those who sat for an encounter will be given priority for a spot for the next kill when it is feasible to do so.

Expectations:

• Maintain 90%+ attendance. We understand life happens and sometimes other things may take priority over WoW, but you should be able to make our raid times consistently otherwise

• Come each night fully prepared. Each night, everyone should have the necessary consumables, talents, and research done to perform well

• Be able to adapt to mechanics quickly while maintaining your dps/healing
