Suboptimal was created with the goal of creating a team of raiders capable of improving until we are a CE guild. We started out with a group of players with experience playing at a high level in a variety of games. We know what it takes to build a stable, positive, enjoyable team environment, and we have the experience, dedication, and expertise to grow and raid at a high level. We are looking to build a team of players that can develop into a consistent CE guild. We've looked at what makes other guilds successful, and tried to create an environment that prioritizes the team over individuals, while still maintaining the investment in each player. was created March of 2021, and we have taken great strides to improve our raid, our processes, and our stability as a guild. We started out as a group that had mostly not gotten their first AOTC achievement, and we have grown from there. Raid Schedule Friday-Saturday - 7pm - 10pm CST Invites go out at 6:45, we pull at 7, and we don't pull after our raid time ends. What you can expect from us In you can expect a raid whose goals match your own. Our focus is on the growth of the guild, of the players within the guild, and maintaining a group of raiders who enjoy playing with each other, wiping on bosses together, and meeting our shared goals. You can expect to find a group that enjoys playing not only raiding together, but pushing keys, PvPing, and playing other games together. Most importantly, we want to kill bosses. Roster We target a raid roster size of approximately 25 players. We don't believe in maintaining a "bench", but that all players should be capable of being brought to progression kills. We expect that the raid as a whole prioritizes the goals of the guild, not players chasing ilvl, or high parses. We have an atmosphere of friendly competition, but we know that every member of the team contributes to a new kill. Consumables If our guild bank isn't enough to meet the needs of our raid, raiders may be expected to provide it for themselves. Currently, we are trying to provide what we can. This is subject to change based on cost, sales, etc. Open Recruitment We encourage all who are interested to apply. Application Process You can reach us by completing an application on wowaudit. Apps are sent to our officers in Discord where we take a look and will contact you with our decision. We'll have you chat with our GM and officers to see if it would be a good fit. Our main focus is to get you involved in content so you can get a feel for if we're the right group for you.
