Ranged Mistweavers have more flexible healing options on demand, a higher HPS than melee in both single target as well as aoe, they offer 6% DR to the tank much of the time, and themselves take less damage being out of melee. But they interrupt less and currently have a slightly lower damage ceiling than melee mistweavers.
