After a somewhat shoddy performance on Day 1, Echo clutched it out in the end, as their Day 2 performance was almost flawless and it allowed them to catch up to Mandatory who had a stellar performance all throughout the weekend. It just wasn't enough in the end, as their Brackenhide and Azure Vault keys just weren't fast enough to compete with Echo, who have once again claimed a M+ esports championship for themselves.

Despite this victory, we think it is safe to say that the era of Echo's dominance in the MDI and TGP circuit has faded, as there is no longer a big gap between Echo and the rest of the competition. With both the Season 3 MDI and the Season 4 TGP being much closer and more competitive than any other MDI or TGP in history, we are in for a great time if Mandatory and Missed Count continue playing together in their current teams in The War Within.

Pedros Per Hour, Dratnos Guild Team and Madge gave the Top 3 a run for their money too, with great and consistent performances that just barely weren't enough to keep up with the world's absolute best M+ keypushers. A huge shoutout to all 3 teams and their players, for giving us a super close race for fourth place as well, and up until the very last second, it looked like any of those 3 teams could've still taken either of the 4th, 5th and 6th places.

After the Proving Grounds, we predicted this season's TGP to be the most competitive it has ever been, and we're thankful that this proved to be right. With the format changes undertaken by Blizzard, we saw a lot more pushing which led to many great moments and super close depletes or timed keys, and we look forward to seeing more of that in TWW.

There is not much left to say at this point, other than: Goodbye Raging, Bolstering and Sanguine. This was your last TGP, and we hopefully won't be seeing you again anytime soon. You will NOT be missed.

We'd also like to thank everybody for sticking with our coverage throughout these 3 crazy and incredibly entertaining weekends, we hope you enjoyed your time with us, or with the streams, and we're gonna be back soon enough when the next Mythic+ esports event happens. Up until then, keep an eye out on the Raider.IO, because we're gonna have some good news for you guys soon ;)

Thanks for reading and watching from the Raider.IO coverage team, we hope you have a lovely day, evening, morning or night, wherever you are. Stay physically and mentally healthy, stay hydrated, and take great care of yourselves, because we'll be seeing you again soon.
