About IO Score™
IO Score is a Mythic+ scoring metric created by Raider.IO to measure each player's experience in World of Warcraft's Mythic+ dungeons. This feature was introduced in 2017 when Raider.IO created a proprietary algorithm and system to rank players in Mythic+.
The base IO Score value of a single dungeon run increases exponentially based on the keystone level of the dungeon. You can earn additional points beyond the base by beating each dungeon's par time. However, if you exceed the dungeon's par time the base score for the dungeon will be decreased, lowering its value.
Each character is given an IO Score that is the sum of all of their best individual IO Scores they earned from each of the available dungeons. Characters can increase their overall IO Score by surpassing their previous best either by running the dungeon at a higher level or running it at the same level as their previous best, but completing it faster.
