Hypa is a new player in the mythic raiding scene, but that hasn't stopped us. We formed with a close group of friends towards the end of BfA and cleared Heroic with ease - this expansion we have seen - quite frankly - disgusting progression for a brand new team to the mythic raiding environment. Our current goal is to accomplish Cutting Edge each tier, which means we are constantly looking to bolster/improve our roster. Recruitment has gone through the roof this expansion, seeing a huge return in players who raided competitively during WotLK/Cata/MoP. We've taken some incredibly talented players under our wings - players who have raided with Pieces (world #3), Adept (world #8), Vanquish, Avast, etc., and strive to create a healthy environment where everyone is respected no matter where you come from. Our raiders are expected to be very well versed in their class of choice, including but not limited to knowledge of ideal enchants, best in slot gear/stats, rotations & encounter-specific talent changes, and class niches. Alongside character knowledge it is expected of all raiders to brush-up on new encounters before they're released. Watching a video isn't always enough, we get that - but we're not logging on to waste time wiping to mechanics that could have been studied. We are constantly encouraging growth for members of Hypa and are always willing to help, however we will not baby you - bring your A-game, just like the rest of us, and you'll fit right in! > Our raid times are as follows: Monday & Thursday: 7 – 10PM - Times are server time (AEDT) We understand people have real-life obligations and will try not to add any additional compulsory raid days, even during initial progress. > Our Expectations Attendance: We expect everyone to attend 2/2 raids every week. While real-life emergencies happen, missed raids may affect your standing and your spot on the team. Proficiency: We expect our raiders to be proficient with their classes and are always trying to improve. Whether it be by working on gear or going through your logs to find ways to improve, we will try our best to help where we can. Communication: Headsets and a working mic are a must. You do not have to be talking all the time but being able to provide information quickly during a pull is a huge benefit. Dedication: You need to have a positive attitude towards raiding and progressing. Understand that sometimes it takes time and effort to get some bosses down. We need players who are dedicated to achieve our common goal and maintain that competitive spark to push further where we can.
