About Big Damage:

Big Damage is a newer guild formed two weeks in to Nya'lotha that achieved CE the fastest of any new guild formed that tier, that now has the current goal of being the best 2-day competitive guild in the world, and possibly adding raid days in future tiers and pushing for top 100 world finishes on a still limited schedule. After a lot of heartache and hard work that comes with starting a new guild, we've nearly reached a strong 20-man core and are looking to fill out a few final spots as we finish up Castle Nathria, and continue each week to improve and push Big Damage in our competitive fierceness.

While we lead with consideration for ethics and fairness towards current members of our raid team, spots on the raid roster are earned, not given, and the bar is only rising from week to week. Here are some qualities that we look for in potential raiders:

[li] A deep understanding of your class and class rotation, and how to read your logs and improve if underperforming on a fight

[li] Willingness to complete whatever content in-game that improves their character's power (within reason)

[li] Class flexibility and a willingness to swap as the raiding meta changes from tier to tier is highly desirable

[li] An ability to be competitive internally, without letting frustrations vent out towards other raid members

With all of that said, Big Damage is a fun-loving community that is still open to letting new friends in to the fold. While we are extremely competitive when it comes to raid performance, we also believe it's important to have a raid team that you enjoy playing with. It should be expected that if you're willing to talk and hang out in Discord outside of raid time, you'll be sure to make new friends with ease. We are also looking at setting up more community events, such as off-meta WoW content, anime / movie nights, and playing other games together.
