The Mythic Dungeon International (MDI) returns with global competitions for Season 2 of The War Within! Sign up today and complete this season’s Time Trials starting April 16 to earn the new Prized Banner of the Algari.
The format for Season 2 of The War Within will be focused on Mythic Dungeon key pushing, which will be the primary focus of Mythic Dungeon International competitions going forward. Following this season’s Time Trials, the top 24 teams globally will advance to the MDI Group Stage, where they will push keys under the tradition “Great Push” format. The top six teams from Group Stage will join two teams from the China region to battle it out at the Global Finals for their share of the $300,000 (USD) prize pool and the title of MDI Global Champion!

Key Format Updates for Mythic Dungeon International in TWW Season 2.
- The primary objective of MDI Season 2 will be pushing keys, as previously with “The Great Push”. This will be the primary focus of Mythic Dungeon International competitions going forward.
- Time Trials:
- Time Trials will follow normal pushing keys format, with completing the keys at base level making teams eligible for Prized Banner of the Algari.
- From Time Trials, the top 24 teams will advance to the MDI Group Stage.

- MDI Group Stage:
- Three Groups of 8, totaling 24 teams.
- In each group, teams will be divided into sets of 4 as in TGP Season 1.
- Dungeons for each day will be revealed 1 week in advance of the Group.
- New Specialization Variety Rule: During MDI Groups only, the top 3 most played specs by a team at the end of the competition day will be restricted for that team for the final day of that weekend.

- MDI Global Finals:
- This will be the largest MDI Global Finals for pushing keys to date, with 8 total teams.
- The 8 teams (6 Global, 2 China) will all play at once.
- Dungeons will be distributed at the start of each day, 3 dungeons day 1, 2 dungeons day 2, 1 dungeon day 3.
- Each day, the bottom 2 teams will be 2 eliminated.
- The Global Finals will have a $300,000 USD prize pool.
- This will be the largest MDI Global Finals for pushing keys to date, with 8 total teams.
