CN Players Removed from Mythic+ Leaderboards due to Disciplinary Action

点击此处阅读中文版本

Lei Huo, the Netease substudio that operates World of Warcraft in China, recently released a blog post about the rampant abuse of the terms of service in the region. Since World of Warcraft officially returned to China, Lei Huo has actioned over 27,000 players for infractions including Real Money Trading (RMT) and account sharing.

A recent wave of disciplinary actions has had a substantial impact on the Mythic+ Leaderboards. Where applicable, actioned players have had their Mythic+ Season Title removed, and their Mythic+ Scores removed and/or adjusted.

We have removed the affected characters from the Mythic+ Leaderboards on Raider.IO. This removal action was conducted in coordination with Lei Huo, reflecting our shared commitment to preserving fairness and integrity in the game and rankings. The Mythic+ dungeons these players participated in will still be visible throughout the site, but there is now an indicator present showing if a specific character’s Score as a result of that run has been removed. We are still in the process of removing additional sanctioned characters.

As a result of these actions, the 0.1% Season Title Cutoff has already been reduced by almost 100 points in China, with approximately 600 characters remaining to be removed from the Leaderboards.

To read more about Lei Huo’s decisions, you can read the translated version of their recent blog post on Wowhead.

The list of affected players (censored) can be found here.
