关于 Aegis |

Aegis is an adult, LGBTQIA-led guild on Galakrond-US. Don't let "adult" fool you, we're certainly not "grown-up" by any stretch of the imagination, but we do have jobs, families, and outside responsibilities, so our approach to gaming is understanding of those things. Guild-organized activities tend toward raiding and mythic+, but our members enjoy a wide variety of activities, so we encourage members to organize new events in their area of interest. Whatever your flavor of fun is, our primary goal has always been to create a guild home where our relationships with other players are prioritized, marginalized folks of all sorts feel welcome and safe, and everyone has the opportunity to grow. Aegis currently has a set roster heroic team (t/th 7-10 central) which has consistently achieved AOTC over the past decade. We also run an open invite normal "Drunk Raid" on Saturday evenings to serve as a launching pad for new raiders, more casual players and alt experimentation. (And libations and laughs!) Additionally, we host a mythic+ "Kaffee & Keys" event every Sunday morning (10a central) where we run various difficulties in a safe and supportive atmosphere to further develop our capabilities as individual players and as a guild. We recruit players, not classes, as we strongly believe our members will have the best experience if they play a class that is fun and engaging for them. Joining the guild is not a guarantee of an immediate heroic raid spot, as roster fluctuates depending on the needs of the group, but please get in touch and we'll hook you up with the raid leader if you want to talk that over first!
