It was during this time that Nithessa crossed paths with Lord Illidan Stormrage, a legendary figure who had taken up the mantle of the first demon hunter. Inspired by Illidan's unwavering determination to combat the Burning Legion, Nithessa made the bold decision to join his cause. Under Illidan's tutelage, Nithessa learned the ways of the demon hunters, mastering their unique abilities and harnessing the demonic energies within her to fight fire with fire.

Despite facing numerous challenges and prejudices from fellow night elves who viewed her pact with demons with suspicion, Nithessa remained steadfast in her pursuit of justice. Her unwavering loyalty to Illidan and her unwavering determination to avenge her family drove her forward, becoming a formidable and respected demon hunter in her own right.
