About Folklore |

<Folklore> are a casual raiding guild founded at the end of BfA aimed at creating a space for people from all backgrounds to enjoy World of Warcraft without the kind of language and behaviour that has become almost synonymous with most gaming spaces. We wanted to raid without shouty, stressy raid leaders, without the jokes that are inevitably just punching down, and without a time commitment that would encroach on the rest of our lives. We raid once a week on Wednesday evenings for three hours from 21:00 to 00:00 server time with a fifteen minute break. In our short history, we have accomplished AotC four times with the raid group taking a hiatus in 9.1. Many of our players also enjoy Mythic+, PVP, and even pet battles. Outside of World of Warcraft, we have a nice community on discord that includes our long running Heavyweight Champion of the Wordle competition, and a monthly cooking challenge. Folklore have an open recruitment policy for all that share our ethos and values, we have a strict zero tolerance of intolerance and if that's an issue- you're not the kind of player we want. Currently for our raid group, we only have spaces to welcome DPS players in to our roster- but those who want to flex in to tank or healing roles for Mythic+ are always sought after and we will look to accomodate you as and when spots open up in raid.
